Kate Bush has shared a statement mourning the death of actor Robbie Coltrane, who passed away last week at age 72.

Coltrane, who played the character Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies, collaborated with the “Running Up That Hill” artist, starring in the video for her song “Deeper Understanding” when she reworked it for her 2011 album, Director’s Cut.

In the statement, which was posted to her website, Bush writes that she was “very upset to hear the news about Robbie.”

“I’m really grateful that he agreed to star in a video that we made some years ago,” Bush shares. “It was incredibly exciting to watch him at work and to be in the presence of his deeply profound intelligence and earthy wit.”

“He was so much fun,” Bush adds of Coltrane. “I’m really going to miss him. I had so much respect for his many talents and his generosity of spirit. We’ve lost one of our great treasures.”
