Incubus has postponed its planned Las Vegas residency in the wake of the mass shootings that took place last Sunday night (October 1st) in the city, in which 58 people attending the Route 91 Harvest festival were killed and hundreds more injured. Incubus had originally been booked for five shows — October 7th, 8th, 11th, 13th & 14th — at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The band’s statement read in part, “Incubus, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, AEG Presents and X107.5 express their deepest thoughts and sympathies with the victims, their families, the first responders and the Las Vegas community. Current ticketholders may redeem their original tickets for any of the rescheduled dates, which will be announced soon. Refunds are also available upon request. Either request should be made directly to the original point of purchase.”

  • Incubus apparently does intend to reschedule the shows.
  • A number of events and shows in Las Vegas have been postponed or canceled in the wake of last Sunday’s horrific tragedy, which has been dubbed the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
  • Incubus played in Santa Barbara, California on Thursday night (October 5th) and has just one other gig on its current schedule, in Monterrey, Mexico on October 28th.
  • The band has been promoting its eighth studio album, titled 8, which featured the hit rock radio single “Nimble Bastard.”
