Lzzy Hale has found yet another collaborator.

The Halestorm frontwoman is guesting on an upcoming song from the German blues rock duo The Picturebooks. The track, titled “Rebel,” will premiere next Friday, May 14, along with a video.

“‘Rebel’ started out as an idea with Lzzy in mind and quickly surpassed everybody’s expectations,” The Picturebooks say. “Lzzy tapped into something really special with both lyrics and vocal performance and when we heard her voice on the track for the first time we were totally blown away!”

They add, “Give this one a listen at full volume and be ready to be floored.”

Over the past year, Hale has released collaborations with artists including Dee Snider, Apocalyptica and The Hu. She also hopped on the song “Thunder Force” with Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Anthrax‘s Scott Ian and ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, which was recorded for the Netflix film of the same name.

Meanwhile, Halestorm has been working on new material to follow 2018’s Vicious.
