Glastonbury will not be happening for a second straight year.
The annual U.K. mega festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and organizers announced in a statement Thursday that the 2021 event will be scrapped, as well.
“In spite of our efforts to move Heaven & Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year,” the statement reads. “We are so sorry to let you all down.”
The 2020 festival was set to feature headliners Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and Diana Ross, as well as Cage the Elephant, Thom Yorke, Brittany Howard, Lana Del Rey and HAIM.
Glastonbury is now scheduled to return in 2022. For ticket info, including refund and rollover policies, visit GlastonburyFestivals.co.uk.
