With Fall Out Boy returning with new music, fans are hoping that the “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” outfit will be returning to the live stage, too. Luckily, it appears we won’t have to wait that much longer.
Responding to a tweet asking for a tour announcement, Fall Out Boy replied, “Soon,” alongside a couple smirking face and star emojis.
Fall Out Boy last hit the road on the Hella Mega tour with Green Day and Weezer, which began in the U.S. in 2021 before hitting Europe in 2022.
Since announcing their new album, So Much (for) Stardust, earlier this month, Fall Out Boy performed on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and just played a sold-out hometown show at Chicago’s intimate Metro club on Wednesday.
So Much (for) Stardust, the follow-up to 2018’s M A N I A, arrives March 24. It includes the singles “Love from the Other Side” and “Heartbreak Feels So Good.”
If and when the tour happens, it may be without guitarist Joe Trohman, who, as previously reported, is “stepping away from Fall Out Boy for a spell” to care for his mental health.
