FAITH NO MORE TO REUNITE?

Could a Faith No More reunion be on the horizon? Industry insiders have told England’s Kerrang! magazine that a number of U.K. concert venues have been placed on hold for dates next spring by the band, with a series of festival appearances to follow in the summer. However, Faith No More bassist Bill Gould downplayed the speculation, saying, “If anything like this were to happen, it would have to come from the band, and I haven’t spoken with any of them in over a year. So as far as I know, there isn’t anything to talk about, and I’m pretty sure that if you were to contact (singer Mike) Patton, he would tell you the same thing.”

Rumors of a Faith No More reunion have been buzzing for several years. The group disbanded in 1998.

Patton has remained active with various bands, including Mr. Bungle, Fantomas and Tomahawk. He also runs his own label, Ipecac Recordings.

Bassist Bill Gould founded a label called Koolarrow and has played with or produced various acts.

Drummer Mike “Puffy” Bordin has toured with Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and Korn.

Keyboardist Roddy Bottum fronts Imperial Teen and has also done scoring for film, TV and commercials, while guitarist Jim Martin has made guest appearances on various albums.
