Death Cab For Cutie maps out fall tour

Death Cab For Cutie has announced a new headlining tour of the U.S. for the fall.The trek will hit theaters and smaller venues, and commences on September 24th in Eugene, Oregon, closing on October 23rd in Orlando, Florida. The tour news comes ahead of a new album from Death Cab that is due out sometime later this summer. It will be the band’s first since 2015’s Kintsugi, and the first to feature new band members Dave Depper and Zac Rae.

Kintsugi was released March 2015 and debuted on the Billboard 200 album chart at Number Eight.

The disc was Death Cab’s eighth studio album and first without founding guitarist/producer Chris Walla, who left the lineup in 2014 to pursue personal projects.

Death Cab For Cutie’s hits at Modern Rock radio include “I Will Possess Your Heart,” “You Are A Tourist,” “Black Sun” and “The Ghosts Of Beverly Drive.”
