Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor has announced a live, in-person solo tour, set to travel the U.S. this spring.

The trek, which will feature an opening set from the rock dance troupe The Cherry Bombs, will launch May 18 in Tempe, Arizona, and will conclude June 19 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

According to a press release, the shows will be socially distanced, and will follow “state recommended health guidelines.”

“It’s the full shebang,” Taylor tells Rolling Stone of the tour. “The Cherry Bombs are gonna do their show, with fire and aerial and rock and all the good stuff, then me and the boys will get up and play for, like, two hours.”

Taylor adds that he’s looking forward to “a chance to act alive again, and a step towards ‘back to normal.'”

“We’ll be taking as many precautions as we can: the usual social distancing, pod seating (sectioned off area with an allotted number of people who came together allowed inside), temperature checks, waivers signed at the door, masks in place everywhere but your pod, etc,” he says. “We’re encouraging everyone to get vaccinated as well before the tour.”

Taylor released his debut solo album, CMFT, last fall. It includes the singles “Black Eyes Blue” and “Samantha’s Gone.”
