Machine Gun Kelly got an assist from Michael B. Jordan in attempt to bake cinnamon rolls for Megan Fox.
During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the “Bloody Valentine” rocker, born Colson Baker, recalls launching into the culinary endeavor when he realized that the new house he and his fiancée had just moved into didn’t yet have a baking sheet. Luckily, he’d recently made friends with his new neighbor, who turned out to be the Creed and Black Panther star.
“I was, like, ‘Oh, I should just hit Michael B. Jordan up and ask for a baking sheet,'” Kelly explains. “I called him, and he … texted me and said, ‘What’s up, bro, I’m on set, everything good?’ And I was, like, ‘Nah, I’m trying to make Megan these cinnamon rolls, do you have a baking sheet?'”
Jordan then gave Kelly the OK to go over to his house and borrow a baking sheet from someone who was staying there; Kelly successfully baked the cinnamon rolls. Well, half successfully.
“[Fox] eats the cinnamon roll, she goes, ‘Wow, this is really good!'” Kelly shares. “I eat the cinnamon roll, I go, ‘This is so bad.'”
Kelly adds that he was “so ashamed” of his perceived failure that he threw the rest of the rolls away.
“And my last name is Baker!” Kelly laments.
