Coldplay is returning to the BTS universe.
Chris Martin and company have co-written a new song with BTS member Jin. The track, titled the “The Astronaut,” is set to premiere October 28.
“The Astronaut” release follows the news that all seven members of BTS will enlist in the South Korean army, as mandated by the country’s government. The K-pop phenoms plan on “reconvening as a group again around 2025.”
Coldplay previously collaborated with BTS on the song “My Universe,” which appears on the British band’s 2021 album, Music of the Sphere. The track hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
