Breaking Benjamin maps out spring trek with 10 Years

Breaking Benjamin will warm up for its big summer tour with Five Finger Death Punch by heading out on a quick month-long run this spring, starting on April 25th in Richmond, Virginia and running through the third weekend in May, when the band will hit the Rock on the Range lineup in Columbus, Ohio. The headline shows will also feature support from veteran rockers 10 Years.

With a slew of hits under the band’s belt, Breaking Benjamin frontman Ben Burnley says the hardest part about playing live these days is coming up with a set list: “The old saying holds true here that you can’t please everyone all the time, you know. We basically have to do a trial/error with the album and try different songs to see the reaction of each one and then we’ll kind of cater our set list as we go along. To play something new means that I would have to not play something old. So that’s probably what’s gonna happen, you know — just older songs will get replaced with newer songs.”

Breaking Benjamin’s new album, Ember, which features the current hit “Red Cold River,” is due out April 13th.

Ticket pre-sales for Breaking Benjamin start Tuesday (March 13th) at 10:00 a.m. local time, with general admission sales beginning on Friday (March 16th).

Breaking Benjamin’s summer run with Five Finger Death Punch will start on July 21st in Salt Lake City and will also feature Nothing More and Bad Wolves.
