AWOLNATION has premiered a new single called “Freaking Me Out.”

The track is the first original offering from Aaron Bruno and company to follow 2020’s Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders. The “Sail” outfit released a guest-filled covers compilation, My Echo, My Shadow, My Covers and Me, earlier this year.

“I had a sense of a hopeful paranoia of sorts in creating this song,” Bruno says of “Freaking Me Out.” “You can disco dance to it, or bang your head. Or both. It’s up to you.”

“Freaking Me Out” is available now via digital outlets. You can watch its accompanying video, which is the first of three “interlocking” visuals that will “explore a looming overly digitized future,” streaming now on YouTube.

AWOLNATION will launch a U.S. headlining tour October 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Badflower will also be on the bill.
