311 Day will be going virtual in 2021.

This year’s edition of the biennial event will be celebrated with a streaming concert featuring a full performance of 311’s 1997 album, Transistor, from the group’s Hive Mind studio in Los Angeles.

311 Day first launched in 2000 and has been held every other year on March 11. This year will mark the first time 311 Day has been held in consecutive years, probably because we’re still stuck in a pandemic and it’s nice to have live music in our lives, even if it’s virtual.

After the 311 Day show, 311 will stream full performances of 1999’s Soundsystem on April 16 and 2001’s From Chaos on May 14. For all your 311 streaming needs, visit 311StreamSystem.com.
