August 5, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Together Credit Union and The Point have teamed up this August to support KidSmart’s 2021 Push for Pencils campaign!
Moon will be at the Des Peres Together Credit Union – located at 2175 Barrett Station Road — this Thursday from 3-5p! Stop by this Thursday while Moon is there and drop off a school supply donation to support KidSmart. Then while you’re there get entered to win free tickets to Pointfest – because Moon will be giving away a pair every 15 minutes!
All month long stop by any Together Credit Union location and drop off a school supply donation to support KidSmart. Pencils, paper, markers, crayons, and glue are the top five (5) most needed school supplies, but many other school supplies and educational resources are also always in demand!
Then while you’re there find the QR code at the donation bin and enter to win Four PIT tickets to Pointfest!
The Push For Pencils drive continues now through the end of August with Together Credit Union, KidSmart, and 105.7 The Point! You can also make a monetary donation on line to support the campaign HERE!
KidSmart’s Push for Pencils, the largest drive of its kind in Missouri, is a community-wide school drive which takes place each July/August. The movement is grassroots and has included more than 186 participating businesses, 50,000+ employees and individuals throughout our community. Each year, 500,000 essential school supplies are collected, and then directly distributed, to thousands of local children through the KidSmart Free Educational Supply Store. More than 90,000 local, school-aged children live in poverty and often attend school without basic supplies. Supporters of this campaign believe that every child deserves a chance to have the learning tools and educational experiences they need to succeed in school and thus throughout life.
This year’s supplies will primarily be distributed through the KidSmart On the Go! program, through their Pop Up stores, and direct school distribution.
