Want to change the world?

You’ve come to the right place.

St. Louis Food Bank is uniting the dreamers … the doers … the hearts that want to help. And, they’re helping to feed those in need.

Fill-up the Pickup is a food drive but it’s so much more. This is a grassroots movement to bring people from all walks of life together for the greater good of our community. Saturday, September 11 is the date to come together to do this, and they would love to have you and your neighbors join the mission!

How To Get Involved
1. Sign up your neighborhood: They’re using the term neighborhood loosely here. It can be your subdivision, street, apartment complex, etc. The key is that you have a group willing to donate and you are willing to be the point person for your neighborhood.

2. Get the word out and start collecting:
Ask your neighbors for donations of canned goods, boxed food and other non-perishable items. Any donations your neighbors would like to make could be simply left on their driveway, in their front yards, or at a centralized collection site within your neighborhood – it’s up to you. Just be sure to communicate the details and plan for timely pickups.

3. Fill-up the pickup and bring donations to one of their drop sites:
On September 11, fill up your truck (or other large vehicle) and bring the donations to one of their donation drop-off sites. See their drop-off sites page for details pertaining to each site. All donations will go to the St. Louis Area Foodbank. If you anticipate having more than one load of donations you may want to ask for other volunteers in your neighborhood to help you with the drop off.
