Twenty One Pilots rocked St. Louis last Saturday (October 31st, 2015). The Blurryface Tour stop at the Chaifetz Arena has been sold out for months, so if you couldn’t make the show check out all of our photos below and Donny Fandango’s backstage interview with Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots.
Donny, Tyler, and Josh talk about Twenty One Pilots’ rise from playing small club venues to selling out arenas, the fan experience of their live stage show, and the process of writing Blurryface on the road.
When asked how much of Blurryface was written on the road, Tyler replied “It’s safe to say all of it was written on the road…what was great about that though, is Josh and I were able to come off stage every night and go what is that we wish we were playing.” He went to say “being in front of that many people every night is an inspirational thing and you are able to channel that…I can feel the live aspect really having a hand on many of the decisions we made inside these songs”
If you were one of The Point’s lucky Meet & Greet winners find your photos HERE. Twenty One Pilots will be back next August on their EMØTIØNAL RØADSHØW tour. Get details for that show on the Iron Age Concert Calendar.
