Lead singer Joe Newman, keys player Gus Unger-Hamilton, and drummer Thom Green of alt-J stopped by to have a few words with Lux backstage at the Point's Big Summer Show with Walk The Moon, Matt And Kim, and Catfish And The Bottlemen Friday night (September 18th) at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.
Asked about alt-J's second album, This Is All Yours, frontman Joe Newman replied, "We're proud of the second album. It's lovely to see that people respond to the album in a kind of similar way to the response of the first album(An Awesome Wave)".
Keyboard player, Gus Unger-Hamilton commented about alt-J's stage show, "We are not interested in spotlight's on our faces…we want essentially us on stage to be part of the light show…we're silhouettes."
