Slipknot has revealed the dates and venues for the band's first major tour in support of its new album, .5: The Gray Chapter. Following the band's two-day Knotfest event in late October, the masked rockers will hit the road for a North American trek that begins on October 29th in El Paso, Texas and wraps up on December 7th in Boston. We asked frontman Corey Taylor what fans can expect to see onstage: "We've got some cool stuff planned, man. We're actually, we're getting away from the stuff that we've done in the past and we're looking more towards the future, so it's gonna be a very visual show. I won't give too many details away, but don't expect explosions, expect art."

Support on the tour, dubbed the Prepare For Hell trek -- will come from Korn and King 810.

Tickets go on sale September 5th for all dates.

As previously reported, .5: The Gray Chapter will arrive on October 21st and features "The Negative One" and the first official single, "The Devil In I," which was released on Sunday (August 24th).
