ROYAL BLOOD UNLEASHES FULL-LENGTH DEBUT DISC

Just months after releasing their first EP, Out Of The Black, British bass-and-drums duo Royal Blood unleash their self-titled full-length debut on Monday (August 25th). Bassist and singer Mike Kerr told us that he and drummer Ben Thatcher didn't want to stray too far on the album from the sound they introduced on the EP: "It's been a real journey making it and, like, the most important thing for us was that we were very aware of everything sounding the same. And I think it soon became clear that all our focus actually just went on the songwriting and rather than stressing out about, you know, how are we gonna do a ballad, we just stuck to what we knew."

The title track from the EP reached Number Two on the rock chart over the summer. The latest single is "Figure It Out."

After completing their first U.S. tour earlier this summer, Royal Blood is returning to North America this fall.

The trek will mix standalone Royal Blood shows with gigs opening for Pixies and begins on September 20th in Iowa City.

Tickets are still available to see Royal Blood with Bastille, Capital Cites, and more at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on September 21st. CLICK HERE for details.
