ROYAL BLOOD ADDS MORE DATES TO FALL TOUR

British duo Royal Blood has added a string of new headlining dates to the band's fall North American tour, which will mix standalone Royal Blood shows with gigs opening for Pixies. The seven newly announced dates begin on September 20th in Iowa City and will go on sale this Friday (August 8th) at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The new dates have surfaced just as the second single from the band, "Figure It Out," has become the most added track at rock radio. Bassist/singer Mike Kerr told us that "Figure It Out" was key to establishing the sound that he and drummer Ben Thatcher were going for: "That was probably one of the first songs that I remember going through and I had some of the riffs already written, but we constructed it into a song. And I think that was the song that convinced me -- I knew we were gonna get away with it, basically. I knew that we would get away with only having bass and drums."
