  • Thirty Seconds To Mars has released a tongue-in-cheek video to announce its new single, “Walk On Water,” which will arrive next Tuesday (August 22nd). In the video, a label executive chastises the band members for not putting out a new album in four years while telling their fans they will put out new music sometime “soon.” The exec yells, “People are sick and tired of soon. Soon doesn’t mean s**t. F**k soon. We need to go now.” The group has yet to unveil a title or release date for its next LP. (Radio.com)

  • Green Day has unveiled a new video for "Troubled Times" off the band's 2016 album, Revolution Radio. The clip opens with singer Billie Joe Armstrong wearing headphones and singing the track into a phone. Soon he's surrounded by a rapidly shifting montage of chaos and strife including scenes of domestic violence, car crashes, workers in sweat shops, fleeing refugees, war zones and environmental decay. The clip also contains footage of a recent Donald Trump speech that was accused of condoning police brutality, as well as scenes from this past weekend's violence in Charlottesville. Green Day is currently in the middle of a North American tour that will end on September 16th in Los Angeles. (Rolling Stone)
