Rock Quick Hits: Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains

  • Nine Inch NailsTrent Reznor and Atticus Ross have revealed the details of their score for the upcoming Ken Burns documentary The Vietnam War. The score, featuring 17 tracks spread across two discs or three LPs, will be released on September 15th, two days before the 10-part series debuts on PBS. The Oscar-winning duo recorded 90 minutes worth of new music for the documentary. (Rolling Stone)
     
  • Alice In Chains is preparing a new red vinyl pressing of the band's rare Live Facelift release, which was recorded at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on December 22nd, 1990. Only 1,000 copies will be pressed, each coming with a special commemorative poster. The set will be out on September 15th and can be pre-ordered now. (The PRP)
