Fans of Rob Zombie's film work got a special treat over the weekend with the release of a new animated short which doubles as a trailer for the upcoming game, Assassin's Creed Unity. The video runs a little over five minutes in length and was first shown to attendees of San Diego Comic Con.

The project is a collaboration between Rob and The Walking Dead comic book co-creator Tony Moore and takes place during the French Revolution. It opens with the line, "A desperate people know nothing of mercy" before showing viewers the brutality of the time period.

The game is being released on October 28th.
