MUSE FRONTMAN MARKS 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH VINTAGE PHOTO

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy posted a photo online taken of the trio in 1994 to mark the band's 20th anniversary together. The picture, which Bellamy posted on Twitter, showed him and bandmates Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard looking very young, with the simple caption, "20 years ago." The photo has since been retweeted more than 3,300 times at the time of this writing.

It's been rumored that Muse might play some special 20th anniversary shows to mark the occasion, but the trio has yet to confirm or commit to anything.

Meanwhile, the band is working on its seventh studio album, with Bellamy posting on Twitter two weeks ago that "it's gonna get heavy."

The follow-up to 2012's The 2nd Law is tentatively expected out next summer.

Bellamy hinted in an interview with Rolling Stone last December that the band might get back to basics on its next CD after experimenting with electronics and orchestration on its last few records.
