KINGS OF LEON DRUMMER INJURED IN TOUR BUS ACCIDENT

Kings Of Leon were forced to cancel their Sunday night (August 10th) show in Saratoga Springs, New York after drummer Nathan Followill landed in the hospital due to a tour bus accident. According to NME, Followill was injured on Saturday night (August 9th) as the band's bus was leaving Boston. The driver slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting a pedestrian who jumped in front of the vehicle, with Followill sustaining several broken ribs in the emergency stop.

The drummer posted a photo from his hospital bed on Twitter, writing, "Thank you for all of the get well soons. I’m a little banged up but will be back better than ever."

The band's next scheduled show is Wednesday night (August 13th) in Wantagh, New York, but it is not known yet whether that gig and more will be postponed as well.

Fans were offered refunds for the canceled performance in New York.

Kings Of Leon released their sixth album, Mechanical Bull, in September 2013.
