KILLERS FRONTMAN CONFIRMS WORKING ON SECOND SOLO ALBUM

Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has confirmed that he is working on his second solo album, with plans to release it in 2015. The singer and guitarist told NME that the follow-up to 2010's Flamingo is "not done yet, but I'm excited about it . . . I'm liking it." He also revealed that the new disc is less influenced by his hometown of Las Vegas than Flamingo was, explaining, "People are going to interpret it how they will, but there's only a little bit of Vegas in there."

The Killers' last studio effort, Battle Born, came out in 2012 and the band is currently taking time off after playing some festivals earlier this month.

Flowers has no intention of quitting the group, saying, "I wanna keep being in this band. I don't think we'll get too morbid about it, I think we wanna keep going."

The quartet released a greatest hits set titled Direct Hits last year.
