BEASTIE BOYS GET READY FOR NEW ALBUM WITH MINI TOUR...

The Beastie Boys are about to release their first new studio set since 1998's Hello Nasty, and are teasing fans with a mini-tour. Livedaily.com reports that the veteran hip-hop trio have set up shows and radio festivals to support the June 15th release of their sixth album, To The 5 Boroughs, which arrives next month. The teaser-tour kicks off with a gig in Las Vegas, the latest of MTV2's "$2 Bill Concert Series." The television network plans to air the performance on June 20th.

June 11 - Live 105 BFD - Mountain View, CA
June 12 - KROQ Weenie Roast - Irvine, CA
June 18 - Y100 FEZtival - Camden, NJ
June 19 - KROCK Dysfunctional Family Picnic - Wantagh, NY

In other Beastie news -- for the third week, their current single, "Ch-Check It Out," is holding strong on Billboard's Modern Rock Radio chart, and is currently at Number Four.
