AVENGED SEVENFOLD REVAMPING LIVE SHOW FOR NEXT TOUR

Fresh off their summer run on the inaugural Uproar Tour, Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour are teaming up for a new trek called The Nightmare Before Christmas. The jaunt is scheduled to begin on January 20th in Reading, Pennsylvania, and Avenged frontman M. Shadows told us that fans will see a different show that the one they saw this past summer: ["We're building a new set in America. It's got the same idea, but we're gonna add onto it and make it a little bigger and a little different. We will be adding some things, a couple, you know, extra things per song. So we're doing that for individual songs and we're trying to pick out the set list now and get a little more deeper cuts instead of just all like kind of fan favorite type things. We're trying to really work on that and keep mixing things up a bit."] SOUNDCUE (:22 OC: . . . a little bit.)

  • Hollywood Undead will also be on the Nightmare After Christmas bill.
  • The tour ends as of now on February 16th in San Jose, California.
  • Avenged Sevenfold continues to tour behind its fifth album, Nightmare, which came out this past July.
  • The title track from Nightmare could end up being the most played song on rock radio in 2010 when airplay for the past 12 months is tallied up in a few weeks.
