AVENGED SEVENFOLD LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT ALBUM

Avenged Sevenfold is starting to turn its attention toward its seventh studio album, which will follow up last year's chart-topping, gold-certified Hail To The King. Guitarist Zacky Vengeance told us that while no music has been written yet, it won't take long for the band to start working: "After this tour, we are gonna do a real quick trip to Japan for a couple of festivals, and take some time at home, and I know that's when ideas are going to start brewing. Syn's (guitarist Synyster Gates) has been writing a ton just purely just for out for fun. I've been thinking of all sorts of ideas, listening to different music to get inspiration, and I think once we get home we're really gonna start putting together ideas." .

The band will reissue its breakthrough second album, Waking The Fallen, in a new special edition on August 26th that will include 11 never-before-heard songs, a 30-minute documentary and more.
