Alice In Chains has unveiled the dates and venues for the second leg of its North American headline tour, which kicks off on August 22nd in Vancouver and comes to a close on September 15th in Phoenix. The previously announced first half of the trek starts on April 28th in Boston and finishes up on May 19th in Philadelphia. In between the two halves of the tour, Alice In Chains will hit Europe hard and also head over to Tel Aviv, Israel for two concerts there.
The quartet is currently putting the finishing touches on the much-anticipated follow-up to 2013's critically acclaimed album The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Due out later this year, the yet-to-be-titled disc marks the band's third collaboration with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who produced both The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here and its predecessor, 2009's Black Gives Way To Blue.
Alice In Chains officially regrouped in early 2006 after nearly a decade away and guitarist Jerry Cantrell told us that nothing equaled the feeling of playing with his bandmates: "There's a certain, certain chemistry that you really can't put your finger on, but when you put the certain ingredients in a bowl and mix it up, you know, and light the fuse, it's so much more powerful than the individual parts that make up the whole."

The first two singles from The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, "Hollow" and "Stone," both hit Number One on the rock radio airplay charts, while the album itself debuted on the Billboard album chart at Number Two.
