#SPORTS! Molina hits go-ahead homer, Conor McGregor Needs a Better PR, Ryan Lochte Gets Decision on Rio Charges AND MORE!
Even after Yadier Molina hit the go-ahead homer in the 8th, the Cardinals failed to pick up the win in Pittsburgh when the Pirates rallied in the 9th and picked up the walk-off win with a double from Jordy Mercer followed by a single for Adam Frazier. It was the second walk off win in the series from the Pirates and it completely erased Carlos Martinez’s solid seven inning day. Tonight the Cardinals are in New York against the Mets. Adam Wainwright gets the start and first pitch is scheduled for 6:10PM.
On Saturday, Venus Williams lost the Wimbledon Championship to 14 seed Garbine Muguruza. On the men’s side…Roger Federer picked up the Wimbledon Championship after beating Marin Cilic in three sets on Sunday. It was Federers record EIGTH Wimbledon title.
RYAN LOCHTE has been CLEARED of all charges related to his drunken hijinks at the Olympics in Rio last year. He was accused of filing a false report after he claimed he and three other swimmers got robbed at gunpoint while they were out celebrating. They actually got detained by security guards after vandalizing a gas station bathroom. But a court ruled that lying in an interview with NBC did NOT constitute filing a false report. The prosecutor could still appeal. But if not, he's off the hook.
Back in May, Gil Roberts, a member of the United States’ gold-medal 4X400 track relay team in Rio, was suspended after testing positive for banned drug called probenecid. In June, his suspension was overturned, and according to new documents released by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, we now know why: It turns out Roberts’ girlfriend took medication with probenecid in it, and it turned up in Roberts’ sample only because he kissed her right after she washed the medicine down with water. "He had no idea that kissing his girlfriend could lead to his ingesting a prohibited substance,” a USADA arbitrator ruled, affirming that “Roberts has met the burden of proof.”
Last week people were calling Conor McGregor racist. He was being accused of this after he was on mic constantly calling Floyd Mayweather “boy.” Well, now we have some controversy. Which is worse…calling someone “boy” or calling someone a gay slur? Over the weekend, the press tour from hell continued, and Mayweather had this to say about McGregor. Yes, a word that rhymes with Bag-It. Now, of course, you can’t really get all riled about it, because the whole press tour has been not-safe-for-work so it really shouldn’t matter. But, some people are really getting on Mayweather.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott Involved In Altercation At Dallas Bar
via CBS DFW
Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott was reportedly involved in an altercation at a Dallas bar Sunday night.
According to The Fan’s Mike Fisher, the Dallas Cowboys are aware of a situation with Elliott that took place at Clutch Bar on Cedar Springs in Dallas.
Fisher says he is not aware of any arrests from the altercation.
Elliott could still face discipline from the NFL for allegedly abusing a woman last summer.
The NFL will take a look at, according to Fisher, “these are exact words from a source — ‘accumulative nature of Zeke’e behavior.’”
