A Guy Takes One Day Off Work and Gets Busted for Stealing $1.2 Million Worth of Fajitas?
This guy picked the worst possible day to take off work . . .
Gilberto Escamilla handled food deliveries for the kitchen at a juvenile detention center in Brownsville, Texas. And in August, he took a day off for a doctor's appointment.
But while he was out, they got a call from a food company they work with. It was about 800 pounds of fajitas that were supposed to be delivered. But the person handling Gilberto's calls didn't know what they were talking about.
They said the kitchen didn't serve fajitas. But the food company said they'd been delivering them for NINE YEARS. So everyone was confused, and they started looking into it.
It turns out Gilberto had been stealing EVERY SINGLE ORDER of fajitas for almost a decade. And he had a side business where he resold them to people in the area.
When they added it all up, he'd stolen more than $1.2 MILLION worth of fajitas over the course of nine years. The facility had consistently been over-budget, and no one could figure out why. THAT was why.
They promptly fired him when he showed up for work the next day. Then police found a bunch of fajitas in his fridge when they searched his house. He was arrested last Tuesday, and he's facing felony charges for first-degree theft.

There is no indication that Wilson has been employed in the adult film industry.
Man exposed himself to mom, 2 young girls
A 42-year-old man wanted for exposing himself while staring at a woman and her two juvenile daughters was arrested Thursday and charged with exposure of sexual organs.
In an interview with Marion County Sheriff’s Detectives Todd Winkler and John Lightle on Oct. 9, Jonathan Daniel Barkley said that although he doesn’t remember the actual incident, he has exposed himself to people on several occasions.
Barkley told the detectives that he does this when he’s stressed. A warrant for his arrest was issued and he was taken into custody on Thursday.
A Dad Finds His Daughter in a Hotel Room With Her Boyfriend and Shoots the Guy in the Groin
This dad just did what SO many dads before him have dreamed about. Of course, he's going to wind up in prison over it for a long time, but maybe he thinks it's worth it.
A 40-year-old guy named Donald Jenkins Jr. from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania figured out that his 20-year-old daughter was at a Motel 6 with her BOYFRIEND over the weekend . . . and he was NOT happy about it.
(The boyfriend's age wasn't released.)
So he tracked them down . . . busted into the room . . . and SHOT his daughter's boyfriend in the GROIN.
The guy was treated at the hospital but there's no word on his condition.
Donald is on the run right now . . . he's wanted for attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
A Company Has Apologized For Selling an Anne Frank Halloween Costume
HIGHLIGHTS: The website HalloweenCostumes.com got a lot of backlash over the weekend when they started selling an ANNE FRANK Halloween costume for girls. They wound up pulling it off their site.
FULL STORY: It's amazing that a company even THOUGHT of this idea for a Halloween costume . . . let alone actually started manufacturing it and selling it.
A website called HalloweenCostumes.com got a lot of backlash over the weekend when they started selling an ANNE FRANK Halloween costume. (On the bright side, at least it wasn't Sexy Anne Frank.)
The costume is for girls, and it includes a long sleeve blue dress, a brown shoulder bag, and a green beret. The kid who's modeling it isn't really selling the gravity of the costume . . . she's got a big smile and she's striking a classic modeling pose.
After people on social media started blasting HalloweenCostumes.com, a PR rep wrote that, quote, "We sell costumes not only for Halloween, but for many [other] uses . . . such as school projects and plays."
But whether that's true or not, they decided to pull the costume off their site. Sorry kids. I guess you'll have to ask your parents for homemade Holocaust-related costumes this year.
