A Sutherlin man was arrested late last month for allegedly driving drunk after he crashed into an alcohol and drug rehab clinic, according to Douglas County Sheriff's records.
The News-Review reports James Christian Powell, 23, was reportedly driving westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard in Roseburg when his Ford Ranger crossed the road's eastbound lanes and crashed into The Crossroads, an alcohol and drug addiction center.
Powell drove into a sign and crashed into three vehicles in the parking lot before hitting the facility, the newspaper reports.
A passenger and two dogs were found in the pickup after the crash.
Powell reportedly fled, the News-Review reports. Police stunned him with a Taser and detained him.
Powell was booked into the Douglas County Jail on counts of drunk driving, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of animal abandonment, among other charges.
