IN THE GHETTO: MAN ON BIKE STABS WALKER

Authorities are investigating after a man says he was stabbed while walking by a man riding a bike in north St. Louis Saturday night.

The 21-year-old victim told police he was walking in the 4500 block of Adelaide at 9:30 p.m. when the suspect rode up next to him on a bike. According to the victim, the suspect attempted to grab him. When the victim resisted, the suspect stabbed him three times in the arm.

The victim fled on foot to the 4500 block of Fair where he called police.

Witnesses on the scene contradicted the victim’s version of the incident. They say the victim was the aggressor and the suspect was possibly defending himself.
