#CrapOnCelebrities: Luis CK sexual assault rumors; is Uptown Funk a rip off? How old is too old to be an action star?

Last night's "Hand in Hand" telethon for hurricane relief raised more than $14 million . . . and counting, since you can STILL donate. Justin Bieber opened with a prayer. Phones were staffed by EVERY CELEBRITY YOU CAN NAME, including Tom Hanks, Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake,Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Gwen Stefani, Stephen Colbert, Dennis Quaid . . .Adam Sandler, David Spade, Joe Jonas, Kerry Washington, Steve Buscemi, Bruce Willis, Daniel Craig, Lupita Nyong'o,Jared Leto, Jason Alexander, Jon Stewart, David Copperfield, Tracy Morgan, and Barbra Streisand. Stephen Colbert made a joke after Apple announced a $5 million dollar donation  Blake Shelton and Usher sang "Stand By Me"

It continues to break records, drawing in a record $8.8 million on Monday, which is the highest Monday the month of September has ever seen.  Soon, It will become the highest grossing Stephen King adaptation of all time, surpassing the $136.8 million The Green Mile earned in 1999. In just four days, It raked in $132.2 million.

By the way speaking of movies on the blog check out a trailer for "Downsizing" . . . a comedy where people have themselves shrunken to a fraction of their size, and live in tiny cities.  It stars MATT DAMON and KRISTEN WIIG.

As Rizz mentioned yesterday, "Star Wars: Episode Nine" has a new director:  It's J.J. Abrams, who directed "Episode Seven - The Force Awakens".  A little more information is coming out now. He'll also serve as co-writer. It was supposed to be directed by Colin Trevorrow . . . the guy who did "Jurassic World".  But he either quit or was fired last week over creative differences. The swap WILL impact the release date.  "Episode Nine" was supposed to hit theaters in May of 2019, but now it's being pushed back seven months to December of that year. "Star Wars: Episode Eight - The Last Jedi" is still hitting theaters this coming December.  It was directed by Rian Johnson.

This should be easy…a new report says that the most DESPISED person in the White House is??  OMAROSA, who's the "Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the Trump Administration," whatever that entails. This probably doesn't come as a surprise . . . Omarosa is FAMOUS for being a villain on the first season of "The Apprentice".  And really, she's the HEART AND SOUL of reality TV's whole "I didn't come here to make friends" thing. Which, is probably what PRESIDENT TRUMP likes about her. But she might be pushing herself out of a job.  Multiple sources tell "The Daily Beast" that she secretly plots against other White House officials . . . colleagues regularly complain about her behavior and work ethic . . . and she always "derails meetings with gossip and irrelevant or counterproductive interjections." None of this matters though . . . because she's still tight with Trump.  Chief of Staff John Kelly has tried to minimize her direct contact with him, but it hasn't worked. According to the report, Trump often talks to Omarosa on the phone, "even in the middle of the night."

Aaron Carter's family is full of crap and merely trying to keep him down on his knees ... according to Aaron. Aaron was in NYC Monday evening when a photog asked him about police coming to his home 3 times in one day. Keep in mind, at least one of those calls was placed by a family member concerned Aaron might harm himself, or relapse into substance abuse. He dismissed all that  saying he doesn't even talk to anyone in his family ... besides his mother. As he puts it, "When I'm trying to get back up on my feet, don't try to swing me off my feet." On a positive note -- he appears to have a new chick, fresh off his breakup with the last. He was spotted Monday night in Times Square with the mystery woman, only identified as Chloe. She's reportedly a fan who paid for a meet-and-greet with Aaron.

LOUIS C.K. has been the subject of sexual assault rumors over the past few years . . . but nothing has come of them, because no one has come forward.  They're just claims made by anonymous sources.  Supposedly, several women claimed he'd forced them to watch him pleasure himself.  This 'report' came out in 2015 . . . and the next year, ROSEANNE BARR said she'd heard, quote, "so many stories" about him doing that to women.Recently, comedienne TIG NOTARO brought it up again.  She said, quote, "It's important to take care of that, to handle that, because it's serious to be assaulted.  It's serious to be harassed.  It's serious." But Louis has always refused to talk about it . . . and that hasn't changed. He was asked about it at a film festival, and he said, quote, "No, [it's not real].  They're rumors, that's all that is . . . I'm not going to answer to that stuff . . . If you actually participate in a rumor, you make it bigger, and you make it real." For what it's worth, Louis is at the festival promoting a movie called "I Love You, Daddy".  He plays the father of a 17-year-old girl who falls in love with a 68-year-old man, who's played by John Malkovich.

Is "Uptown Funk" a rip-off of the 1980 disco classic "More Bounce to the Ounce"?  That's what a company called Lastrada Entertainment claims. They own the rights to "More Bounce", which was released by the funk group ZAPP . . . and they're suing Sony, Spotify, Apple, and songwriter (slash) producer MARK RONSON.  They're NOT suing BRUNO MARS. They want everyone to stop playing and selling "Uptown Funk" . . . and of course they want unspecified damages, too.

On this day in 1996 Rapper and actor Tupac Shakur dies at the age of 25, after being shot in Las Vegas six days earlier. On this day in 2000 Rage Against The Machine completes the second of two Los Angeles shows that are recorded for a live album. They turn out to be the band's final shows together

When you think Liam Neeson what movies or movies come to mind?  It seemed kind of weird when LIAM NEESON became a bad-ass action hero in his mid-50s, after "Taken" came out right?  Yes, he's AWESOME as a bad-ass action hero.  But how many people start down that path at that age? Anyway, he's been milking it for the past decade, because people keep paying him to do it.  But he just turned 65, and he knows it's about time to call it quits. He says, quote, "They're still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff.  I'm like, 'Guy's I'm sixty-[effing]-five.'  Audiences are eventually going to go, 'Come on.'" But he still has a few of those movies in the pipeline, waiting to hit theaters . . . including "Hard Powder", which is about a snowplow driver who goes after the drug dealer who killed his son.

If you asked parents for their favorite holiday movie to watch with the whole family, you wouldn't have many say "Die Hard".  But get this . . .There's a book on the way called "A 'Die Hard' Christmas:  The Illustrated Holiday Classic".  It's illustrated like a children's book, but it's not.  It's more of a novelty item for grownups, like "Go the [Eff] to Sleep". It was inspired by the poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas", but instead of being about Santa's attempts to deliver presents . . . it tells the story of a New York police officer who single-handedly takes down a gang of European terrorists. It comes out on October 17th, and it's supposed to retail for $17 . . . although Amazon might be selling it for less.

Teen Mom/stripper/porn star Farrah Abraham's ready to show you her rejuvenated vagina -- she's got a big debut in the world of…online cam shows. She landed a deal with CamSoda ... and will debut this eveningfor your dining and dancing pleasure. This is her first time getting it out since the tune up surgery. . She had the surgery back in August.  She is 26 btw. Farrah scored nearly a million bucks for her sex tape with James Deen back in 2013. These cam shows probably don’t pay much but she is “getting a slice of CamSoda's back end.”

BRITNEY SPEARS is still under that conservatorship . . . which means that we still get to see what she spends her money on every year. Britney spent almost $11 million in 2016 . . . which is cool, because she made close to $16 million. One of her bigger expenses was MASSAGES . . . she laid down $122,613 for rubdowns.  She also spent about 70-grand on wardrobe, and $24,000 on makeup. Another major expense was her DOGS.  She spent $29,852 on them. Despite all her money, she's not really an upscale shopper.  Her stores of choice included Pottery Barn, Ralph's, Vons, Target, and Bed Bath & Beyond. Britney's property and other assets were worth close to $56 million by the end of 2016 . . . and she has millions more in various trusts.

Sinead O'Connor's interview with Dr. Phil aired yesterday. They talked and you remember back in 1992 she was the musical guest on SNL. She sang a song then tore up a picture of the Pope live on TV.  Dr. Phil asked her about that. The good Dr also asked why she keeps her head shaved

Olivia Newton-John has heard the phrase breast cancer twice. For a time she couldn’t walk much less get on a stage and perform. Now she can walk and perform. She cannot walk long distances but she can walk. How? She has been treating her pain with medical marijuana grown by her husband. So if you were wondering if she lives in Missouri the answer is no.

GENE SIMMONS will play alongside former KISS guitarist ACE FREHLEY again, for the first time in 16 YEARS. Relations between the estranged band members have been thawing for a while.  First PAUL STANLEY recorded a song with Ace last year.  And back in June, Gene helped out on a few tracks for Ace's solo album. One of Gene and Paul's biggest gripes with Ace was his drug abuse, but he's reportedly been sober now for over a decade. It's worth noting, Gene is NOT bringing Ace back into the KISS fold . . . not yet at least.  And this is for CHARITY.  Gene and Ace will share the stage at the 'Children Matter' Benefit Concert in St. Paul, Minnesota next weekend. Gene's solo band is headlining . . . and other performers include CHEAP TRICK and former EAGLES guitarist DON FELDER. Gene hasn't commented on the reunion . . . but he is talking about a promotion where he's offering to HAND-DELIVER a 10-CD 'vault' box set to YOUR HOUSE.  But you'll have to shell out $50,000 to make it happen.
