The NFL is suspending Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker four games for violation of the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.  Pro Football Talk reports Welker took some Molly while at the Kentucky Derby.  He tested positive for the PED and lost his appeal, which took place two weeks ago.  He will not be permitted to practice with the team during the suspension.

Anthony Davis led all scorers with 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the United States crushed New Zealand 98-71 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.  The U.S. improves to 3-and-0 in the tournament, and faces the Dominican Republic on today.

United States captain Tom Watson is sticking with veterans for the Ryder Cup team.  Watson has named Keegan Bradley, Hunter Mahan and Webb Simpson to the squad.  Those three players join Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Jimmy Walker, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed and Zach Johnson who all qualified.
