I haven't blogged on the personal page lately because I have just been swamped with keeping up with the Woody and Rizzuto blog and Podcast. Thanks to you guys - our Blog and Podcast page are the two most viewed pages on the entire website! You guys make my job fun by commenting on the different things we talk about so I thank you so much!

First off a hilarious video that I made in college. It's ridiculous!

I figured that since it's been awhile I just want to give you some bands that I am into and have really dug lately. Also - if it IS a popular band - I want to give you a taste of a song that you may not have heard from them. Maybe an album track or two. Something a little different.

So without further ...

Wrap Up & Cookie Duster

The week is quickly wrapping up! Believe it or not, now that I am working with Woody & Riz the week just flys by!

If you aren't tuning in your def. should! The show is hilarious. I literally sit in the phone screener room and laugh hysterically - sometimes you may even hear me laughing as I pick up your phone call - it is seriously that funny.

When you read the blog - leave a comment! I spend time on that thing so you guys can read up and post a comment. If there is a good one, I pass it along to the guys and they may even read it!

Hope the problems with the Podcast are over with! I try and get it up about 20 mins after the show is over so you guys can listen to it right away! Subscribe/download/get after it!

So - when you call the guys in the morning - I'm the one who answers your phone call. You be nice to me - I'll be nice to you. You be a douche to me - I'll be nice to you. (Hey, I love my job, I'm not gonna let you bring me down)

Also - when you read the Woody & Rizzuto Blah, Blah, Blog - I'm the guy who posts everything and keeps you up to date on the show. Leave a comment, leave a question, or tell the guys what you think of the show - it might even make it to the air.

I can remember the days I would sit in front of the TV and bet my buddies that Ken Griffey would hit out more dingers then Frank Thomas and then Mike Piazza would out blast them all.

Now, all three players are somehow involved in the league but it would be a miracle if they could get the ball out of the infield.

Personally it would be nice to see Albert take this one, but with the game at Busch and the ease of lefties hitting it out of the park I'd have to give it to Prince Fielder. But, Ryan Howard may have some extra motiviation because of his hometown tie in...

"Swing and a homerun, but it's foul"

“A hit up the middle right now would be like a nice ham sandwich and a cold, frosty one."

"It's raining like a Chinese fire drill!"

"Our next home stand follows this road trip."

‘‘You can't argue with the weather.''

“The Ozarks are a beautiful place this time of year, with all the animals scurrying around, trying to add to their heritage......”

“The wind has switched 360 degrees”

"Well, folks, this game began as a tiny worm and is blossoming into a large cobra."

(Broadcasting from New York under a full moon) "I wish you folks back in St. Louis could see this moon."

1) Framing Hanley shocked the hell out of me. I thought that it was going to be nothing but a generic rockfest until "Lollipop" was played but they seriously melted some faces off.

2) Anberlin has yet to disappoint me when I've seen them live. I've seen them probably 5 times now and each time they get better. If you want a live show tthat will move the crowd and ...

Tats & Elephants

So, big things happening around the station this week. Chris Cornell pops in, Lollapalooza gets announce, and on Thursday, one of my favorite new Artists, Cage the Elephant will be stopping by playing acoustically and hanging out. If you haven't checked them out you have to watch this video!

I said I would upload a photo of the work Robby @ InkSpot did for me.. Sorry it's a sh%#$y camera phone picture!

I plan on going in sometime this upcoming week and getting something else done. I'd love to hear any ideas and comments, bring em on.

Also, I'd like to hear your thoughts on something. Remembe the Pit back in the day? Bunch of harder stuff (Soulfly, Fear Factory, Killswitch, Lamb of God, Sevendust..etc?) was played later in the night on like a Friday or a Saturday. Want more of that?!?!?!?
He's probably not your father...but there is a small possibility he may be everyone's father.

Now that I have your full undivided attention...I proceed.....

So, I write you a little less bearded but still 100% celebrated. Even though St. Patty's has gone and past many exciting things to look forward to. The announcement of Pointfest, Great new album releases, and of course the weather is looking to be favorable (even though it's looking pretty terrible outside right now). I too went to visit my buddies Big Dave, Gabe, and Robby within the past month. I will post Robby's work on my arm here shortly. (Picture Old School Colorful Stereo - ITS CRAZY). I am looking to get more work done, just not sure when.

But, I share with you the latest video from my buddies Madina Lake. Enjoy, comment, and remember, Jeff ...

I Hereby Claim To Be....

So I figured if Lomax can deem himself to be the "Only Skateboarding Member of the St. Louis Media" I get to make my own claim as well. It's official. I am currently in the works on starting up not only a website, but also getting the rights to being claimed the official "St. Louis Leprechaun." Yes ... if you see me downtown or at dogtown on either of the St Patricks Day celebration, you will notice that I am a head-to-toe real life Leprechaun. Just keep your eyes open and I may even have goodies for you. Don't get any crazy ideas as I won't be carrying around actual gold, so don't try and beat my #$! for a share of my riches. If you don't think that Leprechauns are real you may not have seen a News Package in Mobile Alabama.
