St. Louis – 105.7 The Point “Everything Alternative” announced today that Woody and Ravey of the Woody and Rizz Morning Show (WAR) have accepted a position with Clear Channel’s KYSR-FM (Alt. 98.7) - Los Angeles to form a new morning show there. At the same time former co-host Scott Rizzuto has accepted the position as the new Morning Show Host at 105.7 The Point beginning April 1 with Tony Patrico as co-host and producer.

“We are sad that Woody is leaving and happy for the opportunity that he has in LA said Sr. Vice President & General Manager of Emmis St. Louis, John Beck. “I am also very excited and elated that Scott Rizzuto and Tony Patrico have agreed to take over the Point morning show and build on the successful formula that has made the show number one in St. Louis for a long time. We will miss Woody but I know that Scott Rizzuto will knock the ball out of the park for the Point morning show.”

“As sad as we are to see Woody leave, we are also excited for the opportunity he has in Los Angeles. While Woody has done a tremendous job for us at the Point and we look forward to continued success with Scott Rizzuto and Tony Patrico taking over the show,” said 105.7 The Point Program Director, Tommy Mattern.

Woody will remain on the Point morning show until April 1 and then Rizzuto and Patrico will take over. All other elements of the morning show will remain in place.
