Police arrested a man who they said punched another man who refused to hug him. Iowa City police responded to a report of someone being aggressive and punching cars Sunday night. The suspect, a 23-year-old man, told police he became upset after he tried to hug a man and was pushed away. Just Hug It Out Bitch.
CAUTION, THIS STORY SUCKS: Saiga Akhter is a 30 year-old woman accused of killing her two small children earlier this week at their home in Irving, Texas. Saiga Akhter reportedly strangled her two year-old daughter and five year-old son with a piece of wire, then calmly called 911 to report what she had done. In the 911 call, Akhter matter-of-factly explained she killed her kids because they had autism, and she wanted "normal" children. Akhter, 30, reportedly also tried with a liquid chemical, and may have even put the chemicals in their mouth. The children wouldn't drink the liquid, though, so their mother thought of something else. She apparently found a wire, wrapped it around each child, and killed them. Attorney James Cheney Mason put it out there on “Dateline NBC.” When Nelson Serrano was convicted of killing four people in Bartow, Fla., in 1997, the prosecution’s case had hinged on a 28-minute window.“I challenge anybody to show me. I’ll pay them a million dollars if they can do it,” Dustin Kolodziej, then a law student in Texas, took Mason’s words as more than a challenge. He saw a verbal contract — a televised verbal contract. So Kolodziej did just what the attorney said wasn’t possible. The whole while, his camcorder recorded his movements. Mason told the student of the law that it was just a joke, a figure of speech. But Kolodziej has refused to go away. He still wants his $1 million and has filed a lawsuit. A federal case to be exact.
 Cards' winning streak has been cut short. Placido Polanco homered leading off the 11th inning, and the Philadelphia Phillies survived another poor offensive showing with a 2-0 victory that ended the Cardinals' eight-game winning streak and averted a four-game sweep on Thursday.
Cards' first baseman Albert Pujols will appear on "The Late Show With David Letterman" on Monday, an off day for the Cards before they begin a three-game series with the Mets in New York. In addition to sitting down with the host, CBS says, Pujols will take part in an "outdoor batting demonstration." It's unlikely that Pujols will be swinging at baseballs.

A man is suing Wal-Mart for injuries he received after he was caught shoplifting. It was all caught on tape. Attorneys say the shoplifter is suing because store employees went too far.Surveillance video was taken from inside Wal-Mart. It appears that four employees wrestle Michael Harris to the ground. Lorraine Bulloch was drunk last night when her brother came home with the wrong brand of beer. They argued about what an idiot he was for buying the wrong kind and things got out of hand. She picked up a knife and threw it at her brother. Unfortunately, her knife throwing skills aren’t that sharp and her brother was quick as a cat. He ducked, but the 3-year-old child behind him didn’t have the same instinctive knife fight reflexes. Lorraine was taken to jail and the child was rushed to the hospital with serious head injuries.
