Here's the scenario - one big-ass, menacing monster has risen from the Big Muddy and it's laying waste to the StL. Buildings are falling, people run in terror and generally things are getting a bit messy. Lesser men would soil their whitey-tighties and flee - but not you. You'll do what any rational, intelligent hero-type would do - get yourself some supplies and build one crazy huge, tough-as-nails-and-twice-as-pissed Giant Robot. No creepy creature does that to your town!
Submit your Giant Robot concept and hand that big monster a St. Louis-style beat-down. Describe your machine: what it looks like, what it does, why it will kick some serious monster-hindquarter. Make sure to include an image with your submission - it can be as simple as a drawing on a napkin - just show us your idea! [see example]
The winning entry will receive $1,000 in product from Shapiro Metal Supply, St. Louis' leading supplier of aluminum, stainless steel, 4130 steel and more. The winning robot will also be featured as part of the 105.7 the Point website design for a weekend in March!
