Arcade Fire has unveiled its North American tour plans in support of the Canadian act's fourth album, Reflektor, which recently debuted at Number One on the Billboard album chart. The trek kicks off on March 6th, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky, with 28 cities confirmed so far through August 30th. Additional shows will be announced. Tickets for the general public go on sale starting next Friday, November 22nd via Live Nation.
- Released on October 29th, Reflektor sold 140,000 copies in its first week to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart.
- The group's last record, 2010's The Suburbs, also entered in the top spot with sales of 156,000 copies.
- Reflektor is the first album from Arcade Fire to receive major distribution as well as a radio promotion push from a major record label.
