Imagine Dragons has just released a video for "On Top Of The World," the fourth single to emerge from the group's unstoppable debut disc, Night Visions. The clip plays with the themes of conspiracy theories and even makes a reference to the theory that director Stanley Kubrick planted visual clues in his movie The Shining which revealed that he had filmed a fake moon landing for the U.S. government.

"On Top Of The World" follows "It's Time," "Radioactive" and "Demons" onto the charts and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds told us that the band has a simple criteria for the songs it writes: "If a song cannot stand alone, just simply sung on the guitar or on the piano, and it has to be dressed up with production to make it a good song, than it's really not a good song. What we've done is really started in that setting every single time. And then when the song can stand alone, you know, and just be sung around a campfire basically and be a good song, then you can dress it up."

  • Night Visions has sold more than 1.4 million copies to date, with both "Radioactive" and "It's Time" hitting the top of the Modern Rock radio chart. "Demons" is currently sitting at Number Four on the survey.
  • Imagine Dragons recently announced the details of an 21-date arena headlining tour that will kick off on February 8th, 2014 in Boise, Idaho. This will likely be the group's final jaunt before work begins on the follow-up to Night Visions.
