Avenged Sevenfold's new album, Hail To The King, is now streaming online at iTunes in full, a week ahead of its release next Tuesday (August 27th). Singer M. Shadows wrote at the band's Facebook page, "We have been waiting to show you all our brand new album Hail To The King for far too long. It took us nine months of writing, recording and preparation so that we could put out an album we are all proud of from start to finish. Well I'm excited to announce that the wait is over. We have teamed up with our friends at iTunes to start streaming the full album right now until it's released on August 27. The stream is high quality and you can listen to the whole album as many times as you'd like. So plug in your best set of headphones and turn it up to 10."
The band will play a free show for fans in Los Angeles on Monday (August 26th) at the Hollywood Palladium, and Shadows told us that a number of new songs will make their live debut there: "Yeah, that's why we're making it a free show, so kids can't complain about all the new stuff (laughs). No, yeah, we're gonna play a bunch of it at the Palladium and we're just really excited to kind of do a big set list of, you know, old and new stuff, but at least five songs from the new album, for sure."
Tickets for the free show will be available at the Palladium box office on Friday (August 23rd).
Avenged Sevenfold recently notched the fifth Number One single of the band's career as the song "Hail To The King" reached the top of the Active Rock radio chart.
The band will begin a fall headlining North American tour on October 3rd in Chicago, concluding on October 26th in Las Vegas. Support on the road trip will come from Deftones and Ghost. CLICK HERE to get your tickets for the St. Louis, "Pointergeist" tour date.
