Kid Rock has announced the details of a summer U.S. tour for which all tickets will cost just $20. Rock is also working to lower prices on everything from parking to beer to merchandise at every show in every city. The trek begins on June 28th in Bristow, Virginia and winds down on September 15th in Tampa, Florida. Tickets go on sale to the public in selected markets beginning Friday (April 12th) on LiveNation.com.

Rock said, "Everyone knows the economy is still hurting people across the country, but I didn't want that to be a reason why everyone couldn't get out and enjoy themselves on a summer night. So we're going to throw the biggest and best party ever, with prices across the board that are reasonable and transparent. No hidden fees, no gimmicks. We're not sparing any expense on this tour, we're going over the top as always, but that doesn't mean we're going to ask the fans to pay more."

Support on the trek will come from ZZ TopKool And The Gang and Uncle Kracker depending on the show.

Rock is offering 1,000 "Platinum Tickets" for each show at market prices. These will be for the best seats in the house and are being made available specifically to combat local scalpers in each city.

The first two rows at each show will also be reserved as free upgrades for randomly selected fans.

Kid Rock is touring in support of his latest studio album, 2012's Rebel Soul.

The singer will appear on Tuesday's (April 9th) edition of Chelsea Lately on E!, as well as CNN's Piers Morgan Live this Friday, April 12th.
