Fun. has announced a summer headlining U.S. tour with special guests Tegan And Sara that will launch on July 6th in Toronto, with gigs confirmed so far through late September. A portion of the ticket sales from the Most Nights tour will benefit The Ally Coalition, a partnership created by the band and designer Rachel Antonoff that's devoted to encouraging and inspiring music, fashion and entertainment communities to take action in support of LGBTQ equality.
Fun. member Andrew Dost told us that the group plans to bring a bigger stage show out on the road this year: "I guess this kind of happened so fast, the kind of explosion of the band, that we didn't really adjust in time in terms of maybe like having a giant stage show or anything. There's a certain element or grand quality that's just expected if you're playing big shows. I think now we're finally starting to catch our show up to the size of the rooms that we've been playing and I'm really, really excited about it. I feel like our show is about to get a lot stronger this year."
Tegan And Sara will miss the shows in Columbus, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
Fun. is represented in six categories at this year's 55th Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Some Nights, and Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "We Are Young."
