It appears that former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch will be joining the band for the Rock On The Range show, with singer Jonathan Davis saying, "Head is back!! Rock On The Range is going to start it all off!! Get ready, we are going to hit it hard!!"

It's been previously announced that Welch would be performing shows with the band at festivals in Germany during the summer.

Korn is making its third appearance at Columbus Crew Stadium and bassist Reginald "Fieldy"Arvizu told us why he enjoys coming back: "I like doing those big festival shows 'cause there's so many bands and like, I don't know, I have a good time, you know, checking out bands and it's more like a party. There's like a lot going on. You know, like, you got all the events out there -- it's almost like going to the fair or something. It's cool."

Rock On The Range promoters have also announced the debut of a comedy tent, as well as a new site layout that will "create better event flow, to add more interactive fan activity to the festival, and to allow even more people to experience the higher caliber of talent on the second stage this year."

Pre-sale weekend tickets are being offered at $89.50 on Wednesday, January 30th and Thursday, January 31st, with a limited number of "four ticket packs" also available for $299.

General public ticket sales begin on Friday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. ET, with VIP packages, hotel/ticket bundles and camping packages also available in addition to regular ticket orders.

The nationally renowned festival, centrally located in the heart of the country, has annually drawn weekend crowds in excess of 70,000 since its inception in 2007.
