Kings Of Leon played a private show on New Year's Eve (December 31st) for 400 guests on a yacht anchored at the Caribbean island of St. Bart's, according to NME.com. The bash, which reportedly cost $5 million to put on, was thrown by Russian billionaire businessman Roman Abramovich, who owns a private estate on the island. Celebrities at the party included P. Diddy, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and music producer Rick Rubin. Abramovich is the fifth richest person in Russia and 50th wealthiest in the world, with a reported net worth of $13.6 billion.

Drummer Nathan Followill and his wife, musician Jessie Baylin, welcomed a daughter named Violet Marlowe into the world on December 26th in Nashville. This is the first child for the couple, who married in 2009.
