Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti will continue to tour as a solo performer in early 2013, with Tremonti's self-named band beginning a new round of U.S. dates on February 21st in Pontiac, Michigan. According to Loudwire, Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen will continue to be part of Tremonti's lineup, since there are no new Van Halen dates scheduled until June at the moment.
Tremonti continues to tour in support of his 2012 solo debut, All I Was.
Meanwhile, the guitarist tweeted two weeks ago that he and fellow Alter Bridge members Myles Kennedy and Scott Phillips got together with their management recently to plan a new album and tour for 2013.
Tremonti has also been working on material for a new Creed album and we asked him a while back how he knows which songs are right for each project: "I've just gotten this filter, this intuition that tells me what songs go to which band, and with my solo stuff, the rhythm section is so different from the other bands, I think it really stands apart. I think it's a little more aggressive than both the other bands."
Alter Bridge's last studio offering, AB III, came out in 2010 and included the hits "Isolation" and "Ghost Of Days Gone By."

February 25 - Colorado Springs, CO - Black Sheep
