Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has told Billboard.com that the group is planning a world tour in 2014 during which the band will spend two nights in each city and perform both halves of its House Of Gold And Bones double album in their entirety. Taylor elaborated to us on the plan: "We play Part 1 top to bottom, next night Part 2 top to bottom, and there's a pretty elaborate stage thing that we're cooking up right now. And then once we do that, we're gonna film everything and try to put together a very comprehensive DVD set that will kind of tide the fans over while we start work on what I want to do, which is two movies."
House Of Gold And Bones, Part 1 was released this past fall, while Part 2 will arrive this spring. The first single from Part 1, "Absolute Zero," recently topped the Active Rock radio chart.
A single from the second album, called "Do Me A Favor," will arrive early in the new year.
As for a potential film version of House Of Gold And Bones, which is based on a sci-fi story that Taylor wrote, he told Billboard he already has ideas for the cast, director and production team.
Stone Sour and Papa Roach will team up for a co-headlining U.S. tour that will kick off on January 20th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
