NEW DATES ADDED FOR THREE DAYS GRACE/SHINEDOWN, 3 DOORS DOWN/DAUGHTRY TOURS
Three Days Grace and Shinedown have added a second leg to their upcoming co-headlining tour. The first leg kicks off on February 1st and ends on February 20th, with the new round of shows starting up on March 9th in Orlando, Florida. Dates are confirmed through March 30th in Fargo, North Dakota.
With new album Transit Of Venus featuring a more produced sound, Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier told us that the band has stepped up their game live: "This time around, we took a totally different approach in the studio. We spent about four months in the studio. Once we finished the record, yeah, we had to get back in the rehearsal space and, you know, make sure that we could sort of emulate those sounds live. And we actually hired a side guy to play certain parts on piano and synth and sing some back-ups and stuff. But it's been good so far and the side guy that we have is amazing and it's been great so far."
Three Days Grace recently wrapped up more than a dozen shows in intimate venues to support the release of Transit Of Venus, which debuted at Number Five on the Billboard album chart.
The disc's first single, "Chalk Outline," has hit Number One on the Active Rock and Mainstream Rock radio charts.
Shinedown's fourth album, Amaryllis, came out earlier this year and hit Number Four on the Billboard chart. The current single, "Enemies," is the third track to make the Top 10 at rock radio.
